My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager. This role is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will be on a hybrid model.

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager. This role is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role will involve processing of all cash collections and expenses across a number of bank accounts. The Finance Operations Manager will have 10 direct reports between 2 offices and will require robust oversight on all controls / continual review of risks.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for all cash collections across all SPVs
  • You will be responsible for allocation of borrower repayments across a large number of loans
  • Sign off funding for accounts payable processing
  • Sign off all outgoing payments to suppliers on behalf of investors
  • Owner of direct debit process and the authorisation
  • You will be the main point of contact for our banking partners & 3rd party cash processing partners.
  • You will be the Finance owner of risk & errors resolution SME
  • You will work closely with Operations managers on cross functional processes
  • You will provide support to the business in assessing the financial aspects of our systems including UAT testing.
  • You will assist to ‘on-board’ new servicer portfolios & integrate/develop new/existing
  • You will assist to ‘off-board’ servicer portfolios ensuring reconciliations
  • Pre migration readiness reviews & post go live hand holding
  • You will review reporting packs & liaise with Data Analytics team identifying any discrepancies.
  • Circulate Matrix on efficiencies and errors
  • Sign off daily, weekly and monthly controls, escalating any breaches and investigating root causes
  • Set clear yearly objectives, conduct 1-2-1’s, mid year and year end reviews
  • Run daily team huddles

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate the Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and investigate breaks.
  • Good understanding of the financial dynamics of the business.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Minimum 2 years management experience.
