My Dublin-based client is looking for a Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to a restructure of the Finance team.

My Dublin-based client is looking for a Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to a restructure of the Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant who is skilled in management accounting.

My client is a successful organisation that is a specialist in the Healthcare industry. They are currently working on multiple transformation projects aimed at building new business services from scratch to enhance their customer experience. They have a friendly work culture and offer a flexible hybrid working model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a small finance team, including: work delegation, knowledge sharing, and supporting career development.
  • Monthly management accounts for Irish & international business units, with monthly group consolidation
  • Accounts preparation including balance sheet & bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting, and conduct financial analysis to assess trends
  • Ensure compliance and handle audit processes, including preparing financial statements for auditors
  • Drive change by making recommendations and designing new processes to improve the finance function

Experience Required

  • Qualified / Chartered accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • 4+ years’ experience in monthly management accounts and/or audit experience
  • At least 2+ years’ accounting experience within industry / business

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Skilled in management accounting and/or auditing
  • Big 4 practice experience is desirable
  • People management or supervision is desirable
  • Skilled across Excel and Accounting software packages
  • European language (German, Dutch) is desirable

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree in Accounting or similar field
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
