Job Description

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Field Support Engineer with a windows background. This role is on a permanent basis.

My client is based bang in the heart of Dublin with the majority of their clients based in the greater Dublin area. This is a perm role. The role will more so office based however there will be some field support required so a full driving licence is required.

Job Responsibilities

  • A minimum 3 years working in a field delivery role with onsite experience.
  • The role is a 60:40 mix of office preparation (working with internal techs and project Managers) and on-site technical delivery.
  • Analytical and critical thinker who can apply logic to problems, have the patience to find resolutions to complex issues, and have strong interpersonal skills.

Experience Required

  • A minimum 3 years working in a field delivery role with onsite experience.
  • Strong Windows background
  • Active Directory
  • Servers
  • Previous Deskside experience
  • Problem solving and listening skills.
  • Project delivery experience – ability to work to and assist delivering complex projects.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Good Written and verbal communications
  • Full Clean Drivers licence
  • Previous Deskside experience

Educational Requirements

  • A 3rd Level Diploma/Degree
  • Industry certifications – MCSA, CCNA, N+, A
