Job Description
My large financial services client is looking for an ESG Analyst to join their growing team, to build and maintain client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and support management activities, improving systems to monitor voting and engagement alignment, engagement practices and voting guidelines
- Conduct Thematic research to aid the development and execution of theme based ESG integration, regulation and exclusion list management
- Build and maintain partnership with key clients with focus on their ESG values and ambitions and work together on implementing achievable objectives and plans
- Support the Client Services Team in the RFP process/database by contributing to specific ESG sections and standalone ESG questionnaires.
- Support the Business Development Team in developing and maintaining business relationships where required regarding ESG considerations (i.e., meetings with prospective clients, brokers etc.)
- Assist in the customisation of presentation materials, white papers, co-authoring original ESG research and case studies for every investment strategy across all asset classes
Conduct empirical research on sustainable investing industry trends, latest academic research, and material ESG case studies
Experience Required
- Strong Analyst skills with 2+ years relevant ESG experience
- Strong and proven project management skills with ability to align across multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of ESG Regulations (e.g., SFDR, EU Taxonomy) and initiatives such as UNPRI, TCFD and Net Zero
- Previous experience with risk and control
- Bloomberg / Sustainalytics knowledge would be highly advantageous

Educational Requirements
- Third Level degree or similar qualification
- Hold a recognised qualification in ESG
