Job Responsibilities
- You will develop & own technology Strategies using experience in all Enterprise Architecture domains, including telephony, data, application, infrastructure, integration, security & business architecture
- You will drive definition, governance & enforcement of best practices of all aspects of enterprise architecture, utilising industry standards like eTOM, TOGAF, SOA, ITIL, SAFe & Principal Vendor recommendations
- Modernisation, standardisation & enterprise system integration of legacy systems & platforms using event-driven Microservices architecture
- You will develop technology roadmaps that include software, hardware & infrastructure elements aligned with future growth plans
- Engage & collaborate with internal teams & external clients and partners
- Develop plans & strategies for replacing legacy technology systems, including cloud migration solutions & roadmaps
- Establish the organisational, process & technological context (and architecture) that supports the adoption of emerging technologies
- Drive alignment to suitable technology & industry standards
- Demonstrate understanding of end-to-end systems & solutions, including the ability to understand & define software & hardware capacity requirements based on system or user requirements
- Conceptualise & translate innovations into end-to-end technical solutions
- You will identify technical gaps, opportunities, or inefficiencies in any area of architecture & the overall application development lifecycle & develop plans to close such gaps
- You will develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration & feasibility
- Communicate system requirements to the architecture, development, testing & infrastructure teams ensuring
- Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture & infrastructure achieves business & technical objectives
Experience Required
- 15+ years practical experience in an ICT Architectural role with at least 10 years’ experience in architectural leadership, design authority, driving direction for Architecture teams within a technology-driven organisation
- Experience in driving Enterprise Architecture driving a Digital Transformation at leading Telcos for the End-to-End stack
- Architecture based on Genesys SIP Management Layer, & Interaction Routing, and IP SIP trunks for device solutions
- Experience in positioning Solutions to an executive audience
- Proven architecture, design, & implementation experience with large scale programmes
- Demonstrated experience communicating with executives and presenting materials to non-ICT stakeholders, & managing expectations
- Experience in developing IT Strategies that includes elements on aligning to the business strategy, Enterprise Architecture & departmental Operating Models
- Experience in the development of strategic ICT road maps, including the introduction of new systems & technologies and the decommissioning and migration of legacy systems
- Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to conceptualise & translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions
- Familiarity with multiple technologies & development languages (python, Angular) such as those from Microsoft, Oracle
- Experience in driving transformation road maps giving evolution of enterprise solution portfolios from as-is state to desired future digital state
- A track record of ownership of the architecture & design activities and outputs of projects
- Experience at providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met; Ability to review architecture designs to identify issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
- Ability to think strategically & develop long term plans, roadmaps, & ICT Strategies
- Innovative thinker with strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technology and ability to learn quickly.
Essential and Desirable Skills
