Job Description

My Dublin based Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the team on a permanent basis.

Enterprise Architect

The Role:

-Use business and technical acumen to facilitate an understanding between the business and IT communities to in setting and achieving strategic goals and provide support to management decision-making, ensuring that IT decisions are made with due consideration of their long-term impact on the entire organisation

-Promote the concepts of process and component sharing and reuse across organisational boundaries
-Drive the refresh of the Enterprise Architecture (Business, Information Systems and Technology) as appropriate and contribute to the continuous development of Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with changes in the Business
-Provide input and direction to Enterprise Architecture development initiatives, ensuring an optimal and consistent approach and guiding the development and execution of the company’s IT vision

-Promote the methods and frameworks within which Solution Architects will work to define solution architectures for business and IT projects

-Support Architecture initiatives and develop and maintain strong relationships with the Architecture community to promote knowledge-sharing, best practice and commonality of approach

 

The Person:

-Degree Level Education, with relevant Professional Qualification and TOGAF Certified
-The ability to translate business needs into IT Architecture requirements coupled with excellent analytical skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven credible at senior management level
-5+ years’ experience in IT strategy/architecture, with a track record of successful definition and oversight of complex architectures using a wide range of products and packages.

-Strong focus on planning and design of complex multi-vendor network solutions across multiple platform

-Positive influencer with ability to influence and challenge people at all levels of the organisation to secure a change in behaviour in the management of risk.

-Strong organising skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload Comfortable in dealing with complexity

-Solutions focused to support change in transformational environment
