End User IT Infrastructure Lead (Security and Access Management)

Our Dublin based client is looking for an End User IT Infrastructure Lead to join their team on a daily rate contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible managing the IT service team and for ensuring all servers and end user devices are secure and compliant. This client offers hybrid working model. The contract is a hybrid model and a day rate contract to Dec 2023.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure servers and end user devices are compliant and in line with company policies.
• Manage the vulnerability and patching process to reduce the backlog.
• Working with internal and external teams to ensure the efficient and satisfactory delivery of required activities.
• Manage large spread sheets and complete basic data analytics utilising tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Manage and develop solutions to resolve issues hindering compliance.
• Maintain and document evidence of compliance for future audits.

Skills required:

• 5+ years’ experience working in a similar position.
• Previous experience in systems admin and IT operations and patching systems
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience producing reports and utilising tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Previous experience managing and coordinating multiple teams
• ITIL and Service now experience an advantage.
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Education:

• 3^rd level Degree from a recognised institution in Computer Science/IT or similar relevant course.
