Job Description
Our Dublin based client are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, Position is with an established and growing Irish company
Job Responsibilities
- The research and development of high level embedded software
- Analyse and enhance the performance of resources to enhance efficiency and
- Be an subject matter expert in the area of Embedded Systems and Firmware
- Working closely with various team in the business that include cloud and hardware
- Develop, code, test and troubleshoot the system software that is for creations
- Provide post production support when it is essential and required
- Be responsible for system architecture design and guidance
- Perform code reviews and actively participate in design reviews
- Work with wireless technologies like Bluetooth
Experience Required
- Experience in Embedded Software Development
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical field
- Ideally have between 6-10 years’ of experience
- Strong programming experience in C or C++
- Proficient with Python programming
- Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
- Adequate knowledge of reading electronic schematics and data sheets for hardware components would also be of benefit
- Proven experience in embedded systems design
- Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded hardware
