Job Description

My client based in Dublin City Centre is recruiting for an Embedded C Software Developer. This is a permanent role with an excellent client.

Overview

To support the development products for consumer and markets. Responsible for generating new and innovative ideas and turning them into real products. The role encompasses all aspects of Software Design Life Cycle and working with cross function teams

Responsibilities

Honours Degree in Electronic/Software Engineering

Software Design for Embedded Systems using UML, code using C language

Understanding of design patterns, OOPs concepts, various software architectures

Strong knowledge of analogue design including op-amps, discrete transistor circuits, DAC and ADC circuits.

Knowledge of digital circuits including microprocessors (e.g. ARM, Renesas, etc.)

Experience in using embedded system communication protocols

Duties:

  • Development of software requirement specifications
  • Software architecture design, coding & unit testing
  • Generation & maintenance of QA documentation related to software design control
  • Prepare reports & other documents to support regulatory approval
  • Provide mentoring, & technical direction to team members.
  • Support research activity by developing/customising software

Qualification level and discipline: Honours Degree in Electronic/Software Engineering
