Job Description

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for an Electronic Engineer to join the team on a perm basis. This role will be on a hybrid model.

Job Responsibilities

You will design microcontroller based electronic circuit boards, including schematics & layout.
Perform modifications on existing electronic designs to optimise cost & logistics.
Design & implement firmware of microcontroller-based electronics using C
Participate in design & review process with other engineers.
Collaborate with engineers & service personnel to debug & resolve issues.
Follow standards & industry best practices to improve system performance & safety.
System testing & debugging using JTAG, Serial Wire Debug (SWD).
Create technical specification documents for electronic products.
Provide technical assistance to other engineers as required.

Experience Required

Some experience with Orcad would be nice to have.
Experience with hardware/software debugging equipment.
Some experience in embedded firmware development with C.
Ability to deliver both small independent projects and larger team-based projects.
A willingness to learn and be flexible.

Essential and Desirable Skills

Previously experience in Electronic Engineering

Educational Requirements

Degree in Electronic Engineering
