Digital Product Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts and QAs to deliver multiple Digital products within the companies Digital Estate
• Vendor management and contract negotiation is a key part of this role
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to decide and prioritise projects and activities including innovation
• Build roadmap of product(s) including upgrades and patching
• Ensure all designs conform to the companies Enterprise Architecture and are within the Solutions Architecture requirements
• Oversee the handover of product to site rollout and operations
• Managing the supply and demand (in collaboration with the Demand Manager depending on the area)
• Responsible for the management of cost and timelines for delivery

Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Product and/or related Project role
• Previous experience with innovation and roadmap’s
• Extensive experience of working with Digital Products and Digital development is mandatory for this role
• Experience of working within the Software Development Lifecycle is essential
• Previous budget responsibility and participation in the budget planning process
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, specification, verification, and the ability to apply them in practice
• Strong experience partnering with third party vendors and working hybrid team’s
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, quality assurance and information security
• A history of successfully delivering products into the market
• Change management and transformation skills
• Experience with different project management methodologies such as Waterfall, DevOps, Agile, Kanban

Educational Requirements

• Third Level Degree within the IT Field or similar qualification
