My Dublin-based client is recruiting for a DevOps Engineer with a Linux background to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

My Dublin-based client has a great opportunity for a DevOps Engineer with a Linux background to join their team on a permanent basis. Candidates must have experience in both Linux and DevOps.

My client is a successful international organisation that offers outstanding progression opportunities and company benefits. The company have not yet transitioned fully to the cloud but you will eventually be involved in supporting them on that journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Infrastructure team to deploy, automate, upgrade, and fine-tune system solutions
  • Utilise automation tools and processes for Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integrations of applications
  • Contribute to the improvement of the full lifecycle of services, including: design, deployment, and refinement
  • Push for changes that improve reliability, scalability, and velocity of systems
  • Collaborate with the Release Manager to create a release runbook sequence of events activities, ensuring deployment dependencies are being met for a successful outcome
  • Assess and monitor performance and recommend enhancements

Experience Required

  • 2-5 years’ experience working with Linux infrastructure and systems
  • Experience in DevOps pipeline creation / deployment
  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Linux
  • CI / CD pipeline automation
  • Ansible
  • Shell scripting
  • Git repository

Educational Requirements

  • Relevant technical degree (Computer Science, IT, etc)
