DevOps Engineer

My Dublin City Centre client has a brand-new opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join a successful organization that promises excellent career progression and challenging technical projects.

This is a hands-on role with the potential to transition into a team lead role. You will be working closely with the CTO to deliver a range of IT infrastructure and DevOps solutions for the business. Perfect for a Linux system administrator with experience in DevOps / Site Reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, automate, and enhance cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions across the business
• Contribute to the IT infrastructure strategy for the business across networks, servers, hardware, and communication solutions
• Utilize automation tools and DevOps processes for continuous delivery / continuous integration (CI/CD) of systems and infrastructure
• Create IT roadmap plans, delegate work, and collaborate with multiple teams
• Partake in a 24×7 on-call rotation
• Opportunity to lead a team as the team continues to grow

Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
• Experience in a Linux environment is essential
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in DevOps solutions and CI/CD principles
• Database administration experience
• Scripting / programming skills
