My Westmeath-based client has a brand-new opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing organisation.

You will play a key role in delivering DevOps solutions and continuous improvement for the business. You will be someone who takes initiative and is able to implement new processes in a fast-paced and changing landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain DevOps solutions for a range of systems and applications
  • Ensure that the deployed solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Build tools to improve performance, reduce errors, and streamline processes
  • Research, propose and implement innovative solutions across infrastructure and applications
  • Build, operate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor performance, report problems, respond to incidents, and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams across the business

Experience Required

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, Infrastructure as Code)
  • Experience working in a cloud based environment (Azure, AWS)

Educational Requirements

  • Third level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
