Job Description

Our Financial Services Client has a requirement for a DevOps Engineer in Dublin City Centre for an initial 6 month Contract Role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance and improve end to end automation across deployments – processes, standards and practices.
  • Drive the automation processes to enable provision of multiple environments.
  • Implement and enhance monitoring and alerting systems with appropriate tools used within the organization.
  • Support the development/testing life-cycle

Experience Required

  • Experience deploying and administering Java application servers, Websphere, JBoss or similar
  • Experience developing deployment pipeline in Jenkins.
  • Experience in using DevOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible or similar tools
  • Experience with test automation tools, Jmeter or similar
  • Scripting to automate processes/code in PowerShell, Perl, Bash or similar
  • Good windows admin and networking knowledge, Firewall, DNS, TCP/IP

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Experience with private or public cloud
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
