Our Financial Services client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist in their EUT Dept skilled in providing level 2 support to a large pool of users. Onsite requirement of 5 days per week

Our Financial Services client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist in their  End User Technology Dept who is skilled in providing level 2 support to a large pool of users across the company. This is a 6-month contract, and this role has an onsite requirement – 5 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Incident management
  • Manage tickets and strive to resolve issues and queries relating to Laptops, PCs, and mobile devices efficiently
  • Build and implement hardware and software installation requests
  • Maintain records and reports regarding incidents and their resolution
  • Meet SLA requirements and maintain a high standard of work

Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar tech support role
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Office Applications
  • Demonstrable knowledge of networks, servers, pc hardware and operating systems (Windows)

Education:

  • 3rd level Degree in Computer Science from a recognised institution
