Job Description

My large Financial Services client is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. This is a 6 month daily rate contract role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support of our users technical needs and issues
  • Service Desk management – dealing with customer queries and incidents in a timely, professional manner, whilst maintaining Service Level Agreements
  • An uncompromising resolution to monitor, update, and manage a ticket queue with the goal of providing timely updates to clients
  • Network Printer installation / troubleshooting
  • Anti-Virus administration and management
  • Infrequent assistance on projects including tasks where you need to provide input and planning to meet a project goal
  • Provide I.T. software/hardware troubleshooting and day-to-day support for the office I.T. environment
  • Support Triage steps to determine User, PC, Network, or Application

Experience Required

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Confidence working with mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android)
  • Commitment to care for and update Asset Documentation
  • Excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Be a team player with strong communication skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Proactively stay abreast of current I.T. trends

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree or relevant work experience
