Job Description

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for Data Warehouse Specialist to join their team.

About this role

My client is looking for a Data Warehouse expert with data warehouse development, specifically within Financial Services, and have a good understanding of ETL Development with an excellent client in Dublin City Cemtre.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the database in an analytics environment
  • Extracting and preparing data for analysis
  • Building and populating databases / data warehouses
  • Maintaining data quality
  • Leading the automation and optimization of the data preparation process

Skills

  • Around 5 years’ experience of working in a database development environment
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a an engineering/mathematics related industry
  • Strong understanding of good database design
  • Good knowledge of Data warehouse and database modelling
  • Write SQL code and design
  • Design SSIS development and maintain ETL and data replication processes.
  • Hands on technical experience
  • Experience building and populating data warehouses
  • Experience with BI Tools – Tableau / SSRS etc
  • Experience working in Financial Services
  • Strong team player
  • Great communication skills, and someone who is happy to be client facing
