Job Description

Data and Integration Developer required for a Global Organisation - Remote Working Available.

The Data and Integration Developers role is to plan, coordinate, develop, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organisation. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration blueprint for the organisation, overseeing testing of the interoperability of application modules.

The second part of this role is to own and manage the delivery of a portion of the application footprint, liaising with external partner and suppliers when necessary to ensure technology components are released on schedule and to the right level of quality.

Job Responsibilities

Data & Integration

  • Implement the Application Integration Strategy taking current and next five years projected needs into account
  • Manage application architect blueprint allowing enabling full integration impact analysis for all application changes
  • Develop and maintain Integration Standards
  • Develop and maintain Standard Business Object Canonical Models
  • Support the business projects by developing new integration capabilities to share data to all required applications and partners
  • Train Operations Teams to manage the day to day support for live integrations

Application Delivery

  • Own the technology implementation within the non-ERP application area for all new applications and large-scale modifications to existing legacy applications
  • Application scope includes Salesforce CRM, Warranty Portal
  • Propose new application software or modifications of existing that is best fit for use
  • Lead solution design workshops

Experience Required

  • 10+ years of Application Implementation experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL
  • Data Warehouse development experience
  • Experience with Reporting tools such as Looker, PowerBI or Data Studio
  • Building and developing a relationship at all levels in the technology teams is a must
  • 5+ years managing external suppliers to deliver key business applications

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Ability to work with cross-functional & cross geographical teams and staff at all management levels
  • Problem solving/analytical skills, tools and techniques
  • Understanding and management of IT contracts and their likely cost implications

Educational Requirements

  • Batchelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or business (MBA) preferred

Working Hours & Benefits

  • 40 hour week
  • Performance related bonus
