Data Protection Officer

The Role:

Excellent opportunity for a Data Protection Officer to join a leading corporate client based in Dublin Southside. The Data Protection Officer will advise on all data protection and privacy issues in advance of the GDPR Regulation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Review and update the data protection strategy
• Manage Investigations and complaints from the Data Protection Commissioner
• Provide Data Protection guidance to the business
• Regularly monitor compliance with GDPR

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a data protection role and will possess the following:

• A legal, ACOI or relevant data protection qualification
• In depth knowledge of national and European data protection law and practices
• Strong understanding of operational processes, information systems and data security
• Excellent management & communication skills
