Our large International Financial Services client is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join their busy team. The ideal candidate would have knowledge around Power BI and Python Development. This client offers excellent benefits and career progression opportunities and paid educational training. One of the most attractive employers to work for in Ireland.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop BI and Data solutions
  • Provide insight and leadership into the technical design efforts of the team
  • Maintain high standards of coding practices
  • Collaborate with the other teams including, Software Engineers, Project managers and Product owners.
  • Lead the technical development effort and provide support with the architecture of technical solutions

Skills required:

  • Strong Power BI skills and knowledge
  • Previous experience around Data Warehousing and database design.
  • Excellent Python Development skills
  • Excellent capabilities around Data modelling and data reporting
  • Knowledge of Database technology include SQL

Education:

  • 3rd level Degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution
