Data Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data transformation effort and develop the architecture for the data that underpins our next generation products.
• Work with the engineering team to identify data integration points and help to develop a comprehensive integration and regression test methodology.
• Responsible for the data that drives multiple applications across the clients’ suite of internal and external products.
• Establish and enforce rules and processes around data integrity.
• Work with internal business stakeholders and the engineering team to determine and prioritize data-related business opportunities and break these down into deliverable pieces.
• Coordinate with application product owners to ensure that the way data is ingested and stored will meet the future requirements of the multi- year roadmap.
• Create and own the data dictionary.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience of data architecture in an agile/ scrum environment.
• A degree in computer science or other technical background.
• Experience working with a data focused development team.
• Strong proficiency at querying and architecting relational databases, experience with data warehouse systems and large-scale data migrations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate and coordinate between people of varying technical proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Self-driven, collaborative and outgoing.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of big data, machine learning, or natural language processing solutions preferred.
• Cloud / fin-tech experience a plus.
