Job Description

My Financial Services based client in the heart of the city is recruiting for a Data Architect to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain operational integrity of the data warehouse
  • Contribute to roadmap for data repositories
  • Formulate target data architecture to support reporting and analytical functions
  • Create ETL packages and routinely monitor load performance
  • SQL development to design complex data models: stored procedures, functions, tables, views and triggers
  • Implement Data Governance Strategy
  • Develop specific controls to ensure data quality and provide guidance to the governance group
  • Troubleshoot upstream data quality issues together with system owners

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a data management related role, with proficiency in:

  • Data warehousing with MS SQL (TSQL).
  • ETL development (SSIS)
  • SDLC, particularly Agile methodology
  • Scripting (XQuery, JSON, Java, Python)
  • Database design and optimisation
  • Building master data
  • Data governance with a focus on data qual
