Data Analyst (Excel)

The role involves working with a small Database team of 4-5 people who are responsible for millions of fund raising projects for the public sector. The role will pay circa €33-38k per annum plus flexi-hours and 28 days annual leave and pension scheme.

You work alongside the Database team and help deliver on a number of on-going programmes with a specific focus around GDPR, data cleansing and data compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop documentation and guidelines for the accurate, effective and consistent use of the database.
• Perform data capture, data list generation, data cleansing and other projects as assigned
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 and related policies.
• Devise and deliver training for all staff on database use, data protection and information security.
• Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time to time by line manager.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Third Level Qualifications
• Proficiency in other MS Office packages with proven advanced Excel experience.
• Previous experience in governance, policy development, and training within a database department.
• Exceptional numerical, analytical, oral and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of Data Protection Acts and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies (Nice to have).
• Proven experience of delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders in customer service focused environment.
• Experience working with bespoke data systems such as Mailchimp and/or Smarteezie would be nice to have
