Job Description

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking to expand its Customer  Support  Team.

The successful candidate will join an established support team, providing telephone and remote support to clients in Ireland and the UK. Candidate should be energetic, professional and have good client management skills.

 

In this role you will handle direct customer inquiries around the use of their bespoke software and website to resolve customer issues. You will gather knowledge of customer issues presented to us in order to build the processes required to prevent repetitive issues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage his or her call queue and prioritise efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure correct logging and priority of customer issues
  • Taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to completion
  • Working with both the development team and customers to quickly identify root causes
  • Working well and communicating within the Support team, including the transfer of knowledge.
  • Candidates should display an ability to learn on the job, to work on their own initiative and be willing to expand their expertise.

 

What you need:

 

  • You will need to have an interest in computers and websites.
  • You will need good user skills and need to be very comfortable using windows, websites and email.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative
  • A drive for constant improvement
  • Experience dealing with customers
  • Effective time management skills; must be able to handle multi-tasking and pressure of deadlines
