My client, based in County Offaly, is looking for a Customer Service Executive to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended or made permanent.

My client, based in County Offaly, is looking for a Customer Service Executive to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended or made permanent. This is a great local opportunity for someone with ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience in Customer Service and/or Sales Support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Sales team across: quotes, orders, and customer issues
  • Deal with customer queries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Log and monitor workflow to ensure customers are kept up-to-date and are happy with the service provided
  • Ensure accurate and professional responses to customer queries by establishing controls to monitor correspondence
  • Maintain the customer database and customer orders, as well as providing regular metrics and reporting
  • Quickly gather knowledge of the company’s products, policies, and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer engagement and maintain customer service processes

Experience Required

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Customer Service and/or Sales Support role
  • Proven track record of successfully dealing with sales teams, customers, and key accounts
  • Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer literate
  • Sales & business development skills would be a bonus

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree
