Job Description

Leading IT Product Company is looking for a CTO to manage a team of 15-20 people. The role is based in Grand Canal, Dublin 2.

CTO/ Head of Development

My client develops integrated health and social care software and services designed to help inform and protect both citizens and service users. They have been established for over 15 years and have offices worldwide Engineering team size: 20 people .

Working with an advanced platform together with tooling to enable the creation of a wide range of applications. . Portfolio management of the product platform and tooling upon which a growing suite of applications are created and deployed . Undertaking projects within a wide range of clients across a breadth of sectors all with differing requirements and challenges. . Management of the development teams focused on technical values based on development to recruit employees, appropriating training regimes . Enhance existing software, by analysing and identifying areas for modification. Write and unit testing the new code. You will be working for a company that has recently placed substantial investment into its platform and IT services. Their output has a real influence on the lives of children, families and older people across the world. An opportunity to work with cutting edge cloud managed systems with the resource and support to drive a truly innovative product.

Essentials

  • Experience managing large technically complex projects in software development life cycle.
  • Experience with software development methodologies, standards and design patterns, such as SOA, OOD, MDA, TDD, Scrum, Kanban & DevOps (Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment) .
  • Strong technical skills and proven experience in areas including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, SQL .
  • Well versed in source control management techniques including complex branching strategies and experience in their implementation with tools such as Git, IBM Rational RTC/RQM
