Job Description

Our client is a well established and reputable Financial Services organisation is currently recruiting a Credit Underwriter. This is a permanent role with hybrid working

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete the credit process for loan applications in a quick and timely manner
  • Managing relations with all key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Maintaining credit ownership for each application through full lifecycle
  • Maintaining and recommending on-going improvements to the corporate credit policy and overall credit evaluation process.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as the business evolves.

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a credit analysis position within the Financial Services industry
  • Direct experience managing multiple stakeholders (internally and externally),
  • A Pro-active attitude, willing to assist other departments and team members/Management as need be who is willing to made independant decisions.
  • Solution oriented, willing to look at solutions and think outside of the box in delivering proposals which meet both business and credit objectives.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Business and/or Accounting degree
  • Commercial Mortgage Finance experience is highly desirable
