My Dublin City Centre based client are recruiting for a Solicitor  (Conveyancing) This is a 6 month daily rate contract.

My Dublin City Centre based client are recruiting for a Solicitor  (Conveyancing) This is a 6 month daily rate contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing Solicitor within the Securities team. This role is centred around the management of Title Deeds and Securities, encompassing multiple portfolios. The Conveyancing Solicitor will also perform all the final checks before they release any security and will assist in the Securities Manager in overseeing these requirements, helping to ensure all possibilities have been addressed prior to an e-discharge etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal assistance within the Securities Team
  • Producing and updating progress reports, trackers and monitoring undertakings & movement of Title Deeds
  • Assist with identifying & rectification of defective securities
  • Progress security discharges & release of security in line with agreed process & timelines
  • Crafting & maintaining excellent working relationships with internal colleagues & relevant external third parties.
  • Participate & engage in all project requirements, ensuring project alignment with current operational processes.
  • Work within agreed metrics, for all operational & customer requirements, including meeting agreed targets & service level agreements
  • Consistently records incidents immediately on detection of errors and engages with Risk Partner / Risk Owner to resolve where required.
  • Displays awareness of the MCFID risk & control environment, engaging proactively with colleagues & management to identify & mitigate risk.
  • Ensure all company processes & procedures are carried out within appropriate timeframes.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 4+ years conveyancing/property experience is essential
  • Indepth knowledge of Securities management which includes but is not limited to Deeds management and Security release processes.
  • Previous loan servicing experience preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintaining good interpersonal relationships
  • Positive engagement with change initiatives
  • Consistently demonstrates that “the customer is at the heart of everything we do” by ensuring that customer impact is considered in the course of all BAU activity
  • Ability to react and deal with change in a fast-moving environment
  • Proven abilities working with word, excel, power point tools to support outputs for approval/review
  • Working as part of a team to achieve common goal. Supporting colleagues and providing advice and/or contribute to problem solving sessions as required

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Indepth knowledge of Securities management which includes but is not limited to Deeds management and Security release processes.
