Contract IT Business Analyst – HR System Implementation

Who will be working as a liaison with the product owner and business community to understand their needs, so that clear, concise user-stories are prepared. The client will pay a competitive daily rate and the project will last 12 months minimum.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the product owner and business community to understand the users’ needs.
• Build an overall understanding of the functionality and the technical infrastructure of applications, and product road-map
• Take an active part in the backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-up and retrospective meetings.
• Testing and regression testing for each new requirement. Support the business in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Liaise with 3^rd party software vendors on support issues and new functionality requirements.
• Provide application administration support for the applications.

Skills:

• 4 years’ experience in a Business analyst and 8 years’ within IT sector.
• Third-level qualification in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Background in HR systems (OpenHR, Workday or SuccessFactors or inhouse solution).
• Good background in all aspects of the software development cycle, particularly under the Agile – SCRUM Framework.
• QA testing experience and experience with automated test tools.
• Strong technical skills. SQL knowledge beneficial.
• Excellent communicator. Fluency in English essential.
