My Dublin-based client is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their Insurance team on a permanent basis.

My Dublin-based client is looking for a Commercial Account Executive Insurance to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working model. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing Financial Services organisation that delivers high quality Insurance solutions and excellent customer service for its clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an established commercial book and provide account support to an account director on set clients
  • Invite, secure, and document insurance renewals for clients
  • Perform mid-year alterations and claims handling in line with agreed protocols and procedures
  • Achieve an individual income budget, as well as other upsell / cross sell targets
  • Ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targets
  • Ensure agreed processes are followed and comply with all audit management requirements
  • Manage aged debt and premium collection
  • Build strong working relationships with customers including meeting commitments, anticipating needs, sharing information, and responding to issues & queries
  • Handle customer requests and enquiries in a professional manner to meet and exceed customer service standards

Experience Required

  • Minimum APA qualification, working towards CIP
  • Previous experience working in a Financial Services / Insurance environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with insurers and clients
  • Strong technical and product knowledge
  • Previous Open I experience

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • APA qualification, CIP preferable
  • Strong communication skills with a professional & assertive manner on the phone
  • Structured approach to time and resource management, with an ability to prioritise workload and adapt to unforeseen circumstances
  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum APA qualification, CIP preferable
