My leading Dublin based client is offering an exciting new opportunity for a Cloud Support Engineer to join their experienced team on a permanent basis.

My leading Dublin based client is offering an exciting new opportunity for a Cloud Support Engineer to join their experienced team on a permanent basis. You will work with the latest cloud technologies and progress your career within a well-established organisation with an excellent work culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Join a team led by experienced senior engineers who are working on state of the art Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Provide technical support to internal and external users on cloud-based solutions
  • Consistently communicate with and learn from the talented senior members of the team to progress in your understanding and role responsibilities
  • Adapt and implement client-centric solutions and develop an understanding of the benefits of cloud technologies

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 3-6 months experience in IT support
  • Experience working in a cloud environment would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Windows server features (IIS, AS DS, DNS and certificate renewal)
  • An understanding of computer networking concepts
  • Experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud

Desirable Skills

  • Practical experience with MS server products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud platform management
  • Specific experience with Azure
  • Familiar with cloud security and governance concepts

Educational Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science (or related discipline)
