Cloud Security Engineer (Azure)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and implement cloud security solutions to meet clients’ needs
• Designing and upkeep of cloud security architectures
• Constant review and improvement of strategies, standards and policies
• Analysis of security needs for cloud Implementation and integration
• Design and implementation of security controls to strengthen defences
• Assess client’s security position with emerging threats in mind
• Cloud security engineering, investigation and incident response activities
• Assisting in development of business through mentoring and support
• Involvement in complex cloud security change

Skills required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with cloud environment and security systems such as Azure and Office365
• Minimum of 2 years security risk management and security audit with main focus on security products
• Strong working knowledge of IT security solutions
• Experience with industry standards, regulations and guidelines in relation to cloud computing and information security such as ISO 27001, GDPR, Cloud Security Alliance
• Focus on Microsoft Cloud Environments such as Azure and M365
• Knowledge in Azure AD Identity, Network and Perimeter Security, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Threat Protection, Windows Server Security and Hardening
• Good experience and strong working knowledge in some areas such as Azure Security Defender, Active Directory Services, Microsoft Identity Manager, Microsoft Intune, Office 365 Security

Education:

Good knowledge and certifications beneficial in areas such as

• CCSP
• CISSP
• Various Microsoft Azure Certifications as well as Office and Modern Desktop exams
