Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement applications on the cloud platform
• Working with the internal development and infrastructure teams to develop the migration plan
• Assist with the efficiency of the deployment and development processes within a DevOps environment
• Hold direct responsibility for the identification and implementation of new value adding technologies, which improve the internal efficiency for staff and experience for our customers
• Work closely with Management on strategic planning to achieve business goals.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven track record working on DevOps
• Strong knowledge network design
• Implementation and managing of cloud governance strategy
• Experience with implementation of information technology integrations
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Implementation of Centre for Internet Security (CIS) AWS Foundations Benchmark or other security standard
• Experience utilising containers such as Kubernetes and Docker

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Previous experience with Payroll is a plus
• Experience with the Linux/UNIX operating system
• Complete knowledge of one of the cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of APIs and web services
