Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Architect experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
  • Design, implement, and manage complex cloud-based infrastructure and applications on Azure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies and provide recommendations for improving existing solutions.
  • Develop and implement cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that cloud solutions are properly integrated with on-premise systems and data.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud performance, resource utilisation, and cost.
  • Mentor junior cloud engineers and provide guidance on best practices for cloud deployment and management.

Experience Required

  • At least 5 years of architect experience in cloud computing.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and management tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Cloud certification in Azure would be a bonus
