My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be remote working initially.
My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be remote working initially and the Cloud Architect will design and implement processes for data processing systems across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- You will design & implement data pipelines connecting data warehouses & data lakes to business intelligence dashboards.
- You will prepare & deliver of data pipelines, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential challenges in data sources, systems, and analysis across the organization as identified by the project proposals or tasks provided by the manager or organization.
- Architect cloud-based analytics for datalake applications
- Design monitoring system.
- Design solutions for data while ensuring mechanism to control & tune reporting performance
- Architect cloud-data lake & data warehouse for the corporate applications.
- You will plan & manage cloud-migration processes and perform risk-assessment.
- You will design solution with data security& privacy
Experience Required
- Ideally a min of 15 years of work-experience in data architecture, data engineering, business intelligence design, implementation & operations.
- Ideally a min of 10+ years of work-experience in commercial design aspect, implementation, deployment & maintenance of data warehouse & BI techn stacks
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Performing risk-assessment & mitigation activities for cloud deployments
- Design & deploy web-scale analytics applications
- Implementing & securing PaaS, IaaS and SaaS applications.
- Virtualization, containers, orchestration, microservices architecture
- Securing analytics solutions compliant with cyber-security policies & industry standards
- 5+ years of work-experience in a most of the following:
- DataOps,

- Python,

- Spark,
- Hive,
