Job Description
My Financial Services Client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst for a contract role based in Dublin City Centre.
Business Systems Analyst required to work within a project team to provide Analysis, Design, Implementation and Testing of new solutions.
Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst
- Interaction with Business Clients (internal and external)
- Business Requirements Analysis
- System Requirements Specification
- Interaction with Senior Technical Leads on System Design
- Defining Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures
- Executing and supporting the execution of Test Plans
The role of the Technical Business Analyst will involve working closely in an agile manner with business and software development teams who mainly develop solutions within a distributed multi-tiered architecture.
Suitable candidates will have a combination of the following:
Essential
- Capacity to get up to speed quickly with existing business processes and system solutions
- An ability to understand the problem space in terms of business processes and technical landscape and to define solutions in a way that can be understood by developers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and experience of agile project methodologies, particularly SCRUM
- Experience on large system replacement projects and/or workflow solution
- Proficient in writing SQL to query data sets as part of data sourcing analysis.
- Financial Services industry experience.
Advantageous
- Business Analyst Qualifications (e.g IIBA, ISEB)
- QA Certification or formal test experience.
