Job Description

I have a client in Kerry that is now hiring someone to join the IT team who can manage projects, be involved in business process improvement and who can also run some SQL reports

In this role your purpose is to proactively support the improvement of business processes through newly introduced or improved existing IT systems – you will translate solutions into added value for the business.  You will have interactions with stakeholders in the internal departments and external providers, in sister companies and third parties.

 

Responsibilities

  • As part of the IT team, research, plan, then develop and implement solutions and systems
  • Working with the IT manager and process owners, to assess, define and document the requirements for new / enhanced systems in specified projects
  • To work with underlying databases, develop reports, load and unload data, manage interfaces
  • To manage and track project tasks and the activities of the project team
  • To provide key support to the process owners in the introduction, development and enhancement of systems
  • Create and supply documentation for users and administrators

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A 3rd level qualification in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or another 3rd level qualification together with relevant experience
  • Experience of implementing improvements to business processes and integrated systems
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience
