Skills and Experience
- Support the Business Intelligence Manager in the delivery of accurate and timely business intelligence information about performance to inform Business as usual, operational and strategic demands.
- Responsible for collating information to measure achievement against key performance indicators and production of reports monthly as appropriate.
- Maintain systems and processes to monitor performance against key activity targets, as well as assisting in the development of new reports as requirements change.
- Review data collected to identify any inconsistencies and validate potential errors / anomalies to ensure information reported is both complete and accurate a
- With the support of the Business Intelligence Manager, assist in the provision of routine and ad-hoc information to support project teams and stakeholders across the programme.
- Carry out the provision of data in a timely and accurate manner aiming to meet all internal and external reporting deadlines.
- Work with other members of the Business Intelligence team, ICT teams and operational staff
- Maintain user access and security to the Business Intelligence applications
- Provide and maintain documentation on Business Intelligence procedures and policies
- To produce very accurate and clearly presented analyses and reports in a format appropriate to the audience.
- To have an understanding of the strengths and limitations of the data/information sources used in and outputs and also be able to explain the detail of information sources and methodology used in the production of outputs.
- 3rd level qualification in a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Training and / or qualifications or equivalent experience in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Qlik Business Intelligence report building/dashboards or equivalent Business Intelligence tools.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of numeracy and an ability to think analytically.
- Previous analytical experience, with ability to analyse performance data and provide meaningful and credible information.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and reporting schedules and demonstrable experience of being able to prioritise workload.
Nice to have
- Qualification in Data Analytics.
- Good SQL Skills.Experience of communicating information to clinical and non-clinical staff, external partners and the public.
- Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into the appropriate Business Intelligence deliverable, i.e. reports, dashboards
- Experience with Data Migration.
- Experience in providing data insights to support service planning.
- Data visualisation,report building, alerts, dashboard experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Have an up to date knowledge of Business Intelligence related developments within the internal and external environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, proactive development, motivation and engagement skills.
