Business Intelligence Architect

My Dublin City client is now looking for a Business Intelligence Architect to join their team on a permanent basis to drive the Data Strategy for the business.

You will be a senior BI professional who has experience creating the Business Intelligence strategy for a busy growing organisation.  You’ll have a blend of technical and people management experience with the ability to manage senior stakeholders, including C-Suite Executives.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive the Business Intelligence strategy for the business across multiple locations.
• Create new data warehousing solutions to meet the company’s business intelligence needs.
• Develop data warehouses and provide end users allowing them to create their own reports.
• Support the CIO in the creation and continuance of an organisation BI strategy.
• Understand and promote the use of statistical techniques and predictive modelling
• Understand and liaise with key stakeholders to drive improved information & data governance – including identifying data capture and quality issues, agreement and standardization of key performance indicators

Experience Required

• 8-10 years’ experience in Data and Business Intelligence roles
• Previous experience in a Data / BI Architect position
• Experience with creating new data models, databases and reports
• Track record in driving organizational change with regards to Business Intelligence and Data Governance
• Strong stakeholder management and influence

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other platforms,
• Experience with SQL database, SSIS, Python
• Experience with ETL / ELT platforms

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar field (or equivalent experience)
