Job Description

My client is looking for a Business Consultant to join their team asap on permanent basis. My client is developing solutions for clients in the financial services industry.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for my client’s customers. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle. You will be working with the customers to understand their requirements, design a suitable solution for them, assist them in the implementation of the new solution and provide any post-delivery support, while coordinating with developers and the technical teams within the company.

Requirements:

  • A 3rd level degree in a technical discipline
  • Strong experience delivering and implementing complex systems/applications/software
  • Experience in a financial services industry advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
  • Project Management background/qualification
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Full driver’s licence (clean) and willingness to travel to meet with clients
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Server OS and SQL Server technologies

From the initial discussion about my role through, the vetting, onboarding and right through to the invoicing and payment process the experience with Eolas has been first rate. Luke helped me highlight the items on the CV that the client was looking for and Stephen gave me solid advice about how to invoice in Euros from a UK company. Stephen advised me to open a euro account. Advice which I initially ignored...at my cost...the Royal Bank of Scotland creamed 4.6% of my first invoice!
