Job Description

My client is looking for a Business Analyst (SAP) to join their team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in applying technology to streamline and add value business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Participating on complex projects of a cross-functional nature.
  • Ensuring appropriate subsidiary involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
  • Acting as a regional or global expert for complex processes within function.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and implementation of SAP systems in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
  • Support the business to maximise utilisation of the implemented SAP solutions.
  • Assignment to key projects per the Global IT project grid

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or Engineering or other related discipline and appropriate SAP qualifications required
  • Strong business process knowledge/experience in Customer Service & Logistics (preferably within FMCG industry)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, including configuration, in SAP Supply Chain modules, preferably those related to Order to Invoice processes:
    • ECC Sales and Distribution
    • ECC Logistics Execution
  • Understanding of integration of the ECC Order to Invoice processes with SAP SCM and other ECC functions/modules
  • Full SAP implementation lifecycle experience, an advantage
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • A high level of project management experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work with remote teams, essential
  • Basic level of ABAP programming an advantage
  • Fluency in English is essential

  • Flexibility/Adaptability: Reacts well under pressure; ability to respond professionally to dissatisfied users by showing models and prototypes to demonstrate advantages and disadvantages.
