My top Dublin based client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team for a 6 month contract.

Functional Area : Infrastructure Change Request Management
Contract Role for +6 months approx.
Purpose of the role
To aid the CITI Change Team in managing the Business Change Requests that are submitted by the users of CITI (some 5600 users).
This resource is required as the CITI Change Manager is covering the tasks that were formerly executed by the CTO of CITI – Phillip Tierney who resigned at the end of April 2017 and will possibly not be replaced until 2018
The Business Change Function has also increased its volume year on year by plus 50% and the team cannot cope with this volume increase plus the addition of the CTO tasks.
It is not a replacement per se – rather a need for resource to allow the additional Tasks from the non-replacement of the Role to be done. Should Start ASAP
Key Tasks and Responsibilities incl. key stakeholders
Get familiar with the CITI Infrastructure environment at an overview level
Get knowledgeable with the CITI CR Process (with a view to improve it)
Work with CITI Operations colleagues to ensure the tasks below can get done efficiently and effectively
Initial triage of the Business Requirement Doc
Facilitate exchanges between Fujitsu and the Business Change Requestor
Re-introduce the SharePoint Workflows to facilitate the logging, triage and pre-submission discussions with requestors of all Business Change Requests
On SharePoint, ensure a folder for each status Change Request is updated and shared with CITI Management
Ensures a tracker is kept of Business Change Requests and that this is available to the CITI IT Council IT Managers, The CITI SDMs, and other parties that need to monitor progress
Take part in the weekly Change Board Meeting with the Fujitsu CITI Change team so as to ensure both teams fully understand progress or holdups and can then communicate these to the wider audience
Works with the Fujitsu CM to ensure outline Implementation plans are made, published & followed
Follow up on Invoicing and the confirmation of completion of Service Delivery aspects of the BCR

SharePoint Administrator and user
Key functional competencies
- An IT professional with both BA and PM experience. One with tenacity and initiative.
- Excellent communications skills – written and oral. The customer companies are in several European countries so language will have to take into account non-native speakers.
- An experienced user of SharePoint and its Workflow feature – preferably someone with admin experience.
- Ideally someone with experience of a fast moving federated group company – one who is used to juggling several priorities at the same time.
Education / experience
BA in an IT Related discipline
5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager or combined role
Qualifications in Business Analysis and Project Management a n advantage
SharePoint – 3+ years user experience a Must, Admin experience very desirable
CITI provides Managed Services to 5600 users
CITI provides full managed services to 8 European countries and partial services (mainly WAN) to 13 other countries.
CITI’s Business Change requests are mainly raised by the 8-countries full-service group.
For the first 6 months of 2017 there were 126 Change Requests raised versus 86 raised in Jan-Jun 2016 and increase of 46% year on year.
The CITI Change Manager is presently providing cover for the tasks undertaken by the former CITI CTO of the CITI Managed service and this role will help execute the Change Tasks.
Changes can range is cost from €600 to €600,000 and can be implemented withing a 14-day period to several months depending on complexity.
