Job Description

My large Financial Services client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team, to develop and support their HR digital ecosystems. This is a contract role beginning on a 6-12 months basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain documentation to support decisions and programme delivery.
  • Perform root cause analysis aimed toward eliminating source of product problems from business environment.
  • Use Lean and Agile tools to solve complex product problems, satisfy critical to quality colleague/line manager requirements and eliminate waste.
  • Perform process pilots or simulations to determine organisational impact of potential process changes.
  • Use project management best practices to control project schedule, scope, resources, timeline and risk throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Conduct sessions to analyse and understand current processes, critical to quality requirements and optimal end state.
  • Review planned initiatives and system changes to identify and advise on optimal product processes (process reengineering).
  • Recommend solutions to enhance product/service efficiencies and quality.
  • Responsible for applying process improvement methodologies in collaborative design and redesign sessions with process owners and project teams.
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders from project inception through close.

Experience Required

  • Experience as a business analyst, with a proven track record of carrying out requirements analysis and definition.
  • Competent with project and test tools (e.g. Jira) and MS office applications.
  • The ability to take a strategic view of a situation, to weigh it up quickly, make a logical, sound decision confidently, and influence others to agree with you in order to have a positive impact towards achieving objectives.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively.
  • The proven ability to keep creating and keep to deadlines, manage time and delegate.

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree or equivalent qualification
