Business Analyst

My Dublin based Public Sector client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. They are currently operating a hybrid working model and are seeking someone with 2+ years experience. This role offers excellent work life balance and public sector experience is preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Create detailed and clear business requirement documents, use cases, functional specifications and other relevant documentation
• Perform business process mapping and root cause analysis
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to ensure smooth communication and project delivery
• Work with Digital Transformation Delivery Manager to develop KPI’s for reporting on BA activities/ deliverables
• Facilitate adoption of new processes/ Technologies within organisation and assist in change management efforts
• Ensure timely completion of business analysis deliverables in alignment with project plan and high quality project management practices
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2+ years experience as business analyst
• Achieved relevant Business Analysis/ Project management qualification
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective collaboration and build relationships with stakeholders
• Strong working knowledge of tools such as Confluence, JIRA, TFS and MS Office Suite
• Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies
• Experience of process improvement and business process re – engineering
