Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for Business Analysis activities across a broad range of projects in support of our IT transformation including digital solutions, data analytics, cloud-based developments, control centre tools and market management system evolution.
• You will gather requirements from key stakeholders and experts across the business, translating complex business requirements to specifications and inputting to the development of business cases and proposals.
• You will work with 3rd party vendors and strategic partners in the definition and delivery of effective solutions aligned to the business strategy.
• You will also provide innovative ideas and solutions drawing on external best practice and expertise.
• You will have proven practical experience in Business Analysis activities (i.e. requirement gathering, creating specifications, workshop facilitation, business process design, reports design and business process modelling), as well as a good understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience Required

• Experience performing data analysis using SQL, Excel, Business Intelligence & Data visualization
• You should be detail oriented with an ability to understand customer needs
• Excellent communication
• Capable of synthesizing complex inputs to requirements with an ability  to collaborate with a diverse range of people to arrive at the optimum solutions.

Educational Requirements

• Degree or higher diploma
• Any project management or project coordinating skills
