Business Analyst

Reporting to the Project Manager.

• Lead workshops & meetings with stakeholders from multiple functional areas across the testing of the solution to deployment.
• Develop and manage plans for project milestones/activities assigned by the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore 3rd Party resources to deliver the solution.
• Manage conflicts in requirements and prepare impact assessments to enable informed for decision making.
• Amend solution specification documents in line with business requirements.
• Create SIT and UAT test scripts, as well as completing/supporting each test phase, including defect tracking and resolution.

• Support business testers during the UAT phase
• Complete and support user training.
• Support the creation of business readiness plans.
• Support deployment and stabilisation phases.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive set of project documentation.

• The ideal candidate will have proven experience within financial services ideally Retail Banking and possess the following skills and expertise:
• At least 2+ years of business analysis experience in cross-functional teams, preferably within an IT or Operations environment.

• Experience preparing and managing test phase within software projects

• Proven experience of delivering high quality analysis through the Project Management lifecycle with minimal supervision.
• An ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and deliver solution focused outputs.
• Experience creating standard project lifecycle documentation – business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, test plans, test scripts, defect trackers, business readiness plans, training plans, training material and status updates.
• Experience working with offshore development teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional organisational and documentation skills.
• Project Management Qualification an advantage.
• Lean Green Belt qualification or equivalent an advantage.
