Job Description
Dublin City Centre Financial Services client requires a Business Analyst for a permanent role with Mainframe experience.
Job Responsibilities:
My client has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Business Analyst to work within the BA team to provide Analysis and Testing on a range of business process and system changes required to support the business growth strategy. These changes will involve exposure to the front, middle and back office areas and the data flows and transformations required to support them.
The role requires a collaborative approach and a drive for results.
- Interaction with internal business clients and third parties
- System and Interface Requirements Specification
- Interaction with architects and developers for solution design
- Test planning and execution where required
Experience Required:
- Financial Services industry experience.
- QA Certification or formal test experience.
Essential and Desirable Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to work within tight deadlines with a degree of autonomy.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly with existing business processes and system solutions.
- Proficient in writing SQL to query data sets as part of data sourcing analysis.
Educational Requirements:
- University degree or diploma in related field or equivalent professional training and experience
- Business Analyst Qualifications (e.g IIBA, ISEB)

Very efficient job hunting process. I sent an application in the morning, I was contacted in the afternoon, I got an interview scheduled for the day after and got an offer on the same day! Nicola Byrne from Eolas Recruitment is an exceptional recruitment consultant. She was always available to answer questions via email or phone and always willing to offer advice where needed. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Jonathan and Stephen from Eolas, and would have to say they are two top class Recruiters. An interview was initially set up for a role in Dublin, but due to personal reasons, I was unable to attend. Jonathan rearranged the interview with the minimum of fuss. Throughout the process, both guys made sure I was fully prepped and what to expect from the interview and we're always available for any questions I may have had. Once the process was complete, the feedback was immediate, and in my case, luckily, was successful.
