Business Analyst

Role Duties:

• Work in an agile development environment by analysing, supporting, designing, implementing, and testing new systems/applications as well as extending existing applications
• Analyse and document business processes as they currently stand, finding ways to streamline them and improve efficiencies
• Create/extend functional specifications and facilitate workshops to assist the specification process
• Participate in software implementations and drive business units to succeed in their plans, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Have technical involvement in projects (defining interfaces, reporting, authentication and etc.)
• Liaise with Project managers, development team, testers and other BAs to resolve issues, carry out system deployment and ensure the needs of users are met
• Create functional and test documentation to enable to rollout of new systems/system enhancements
• Prepare and deliver training sessions where necessary to embed systems efficiently into BAU

Essential Experience:

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with relational data modelling, process mapping, data visualisation, reporting.
• In-depth Knowledge of Core Financial Systems- such as Agresso- Business world
• Ability to ramp up quickly, becoming established as the go-to business analyst within a small period of time
• Excellent communication and influencing skills – ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Third party vendor and customer management experience
