This is a brand-new role with a well-established Financial Services organization that has impressive growth plans and offers excellent career progression. You will play a key role in managing a team of Business Analysts and contribute to a range of challenging Business and Technical projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Business Analysts, including: resource allocation, cross training, career development, etc.
- Collaborate with other business leaders on projects by defining business cases, planning projects, estimating costs, and resolving escalated issues.
- Own the Business Analysis processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring appropriate governance and compliance with industry best practices.
- Facilitate successful project delivery by addressing requirement / design issues and proposing solutions that best enhance design and benefit.
- Conduct quality reviews, sign off on requirements & documentation, and ensure appropriate frameworks & processes are in place.
- Contribute to executive reporting and overall Change Methodology reviews.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years- experience in Business Analyst roles
- Must have experience in Financial Services / Banking industry
- Experience coaching and managing other Business Analysts
- Experience working on system implementation projects and contributing to the software development lifecycle
- Proven track record of successfully translating business needs into tangible requirements and deliverables
- Excellent financial analysis skills, and skilled in MS Office (Word, Visio, Advanced Excel)
- Sound knowledge of change management methodologies and tools

- Industry knowledge of Financial Services / Banking / Regulatory institutions
- Knowledge of IT and the software development lifecycle
- Ability to identify root causes and solve problems
- Confident people management & stakeholder management skills
Educational Requirements
- Third level degree, preferably in a relevant field (Business, Finance, IT, etc)
- Professional qualification in Business Analysis
- Relevant Project Management qualifications would be a bonus
